Two new programmes have arrived on Teachers TV under the banner of using Institutions. These being the National archives and the Ordnance Survey. As with all
I have only watched the Geography video and was impressed by the cross curricular nature of the project that the children undertook. Children used the mapping website to look at and develop map reading and symbols. They then went out and photographed the features that the symbols that the symbols represented. Thus they fulfilled a good `screen to team` ratio as John Davitt would say.
