SEN SOFTWARE FOR FREE

My son, Dylan is proving an excellent guinea pig for trying out free SEN software. He is a pupil at Hatton special school and loves ICT, (hmm wonder where he gets that from). Currently he is using a switch (a large blue button that can act as space bar or a mouse button), which looks like a prop from Blockbusters or Catchphrase. This is great for him, as he cannot control a mouse just yet.

We have been using CBEEBIES games as there are many which are switch accessible, find these at: http://www.inclusive.co.uk/reports/2006/cbeebies.shtml . However, his favourite (and mine) is the counting baby quiz, which has a scarily lifelike baby that tests your counting skills on numbers 1-10. You can download this freeware from http://www.senteacher.org/main/files.php
